The Spindle of Reality

An artistic-philosophical work by Robin Jeske, in two language forms: English at spindle-of-reality.org, German at spindel-der-wirklichkeit.org.

The work describes reality as continuous change between opposites, held in the formula z = a + bi: a is the degree of realization (axis Chaos ↔ Beauty), b the degree of rigidity of the transformative potential (axis Emptiness ↔ Whole). Four poles span the field — Chaos, Beauty, Emptiness, Whole — and between them lies Between-Being, where everything alive moves.
